    That's alright. I learnt at the Conservatorium for 6 years and still was outplayed by guys that were self taught. Kudos for still playing though. I haven't had the opportunity to pick it up for 12 years. They are sitting in a cupboard gathering dust.

    I think both pilots, particularly the Robinson, did well to recover after this.

    Used to carry the banner for the Catalina squadron in brisbane anzac day services each year. Since then I have had a love of amphibians. It breaks my heart to think how expensive they are, especially since all of the above is a deal breaker for me (yeah thanks nev ). Well that plus it's damn near impossible to get endorsed for one.

    Gold Coast AGM. If I am still in Brisbane I will be there... Push to stop flights over built up areas is concerning. I didn't even know this was happening. I really need to keep a little more up to date.

    HI ALl, Just about to head off and seriously do my nav endo. Just curious, how would you go about renting an aircraft for a trip away? I can understand schools would be reluctant as they need to be concerned about ensuring profitability. But what if I want to fly from say melbourne to warwick on a friday, spend the weekend, then fly back to melbourne on the monday? Cheers, Shags

    Just went out there. Lady running it is lovely, Coffees are nice also. Definitely worth a visit.
