Feathered Edge chronicles the life of legendary aviator Robert A. “Bob” Hoover, now age 94, who many consider to be the greatest pilot ever. The film earned writer/producer/director Furst the National Aviation Hall of Fame 2015 Combs Gates Award among other honors, and has garnered worldwide acclaim.

The 86-minute documentary interweaves vintage still images, rare historic footage, and exclusive testimonials from other legends of aviation to bring Hoover’s story and variety of accomplishments to life.

The gentlemanly Hoover, who began his flying career as a combat fighter pilot and test pilot, has influenced generations of pilots with his precision flying and wowed millions of spectators with awe-inspiring air show performances.

Tucker, both on-screen in Feathered Edge and also serving as the festival’s keynote the day before Kim’s show.”

Kaplan will introduce Furst for her presentation of Feathered Edge at 6 p.m. March 17 in the Galaxy FBO first-floor screening room. An audience Q&A session with will follow and DVDs will be available for purchase afterward.
