Marty_d
Dammit, I've seen that before, on one of those aviation videos. Can't think of it now.
kasper
Valley engineering - backyard flyer. Wing swings around 90deg and running fire/aft. Big welded triangular warren truss in the wing.

kasper
Medway SLA executive. Can’t tell if it’s the 80 or the 100 ... not the Clipper because the dihedral is not reduced. Based on the rainbow cheetah from south Africa this one is BCARS compliant and built in the UK. Differences to spot include the drag links on the undercarriage going to the firewall not to the middle of the cockpit floor. ?
red750
There's no beating you, kasper. (It's the 80, by the way.)

red750
Yes Merc, it's the Charger, but the UK register spells it Marquart. airport-data.com has 75 listed spelt that way.

red750
No, not the Kitfox, that would be too obvious. I can't find any link between this plane and the Kitfox, not that there is no link.

red750
Maybe it was a bit close to the Bushbaby. This is by Kitplanes of Africa, but is the Safari.
kasper
Safari is a development of the bushbaby. The bushbaby is a development from the kitfox4 and avid flyer per the website of the manufacturer ... so all birds of a common ancestor. 2

Phil Perry
OK,. . no takers for the Horten Brothers lookalike ? Shame on yez all. . . . Mind you, I have no idea who made the modern replica one in the picture. . . which looks like a 2 seater, the original was single seat. ( Honest Phil ) [Kasper must be on his Jollies this week. . .] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horten_Ho_229.
kasper
Not on hols... but the pul9 and nike10 modern builds were both winglet free. The nike /pul10 was two seater with retracting undercart but we’re side by sue two seaters without winglets and without two piece canopy. As as far as I know the ho3000 development came to nothing ... the guy building the scale model asked me to do the plugs n moulds for the full size about 6 years ago but was not willing to pay a reasonable amount for the work so I left it go. So so if you say that’s a Horten derived it’s one I’m not aware of.
