  1. Ok, there is a Pilot shop in Qld called Flightstore that have cables that record audio and video ftom Action Cameras. It may only be gopro camera cables that they have but i found them very helpful recently on an enquiry i had.
  2. Anjum are you after a video/audio solution like from a gopro camera, or audio only?
  3. Yes the Headset is up front expensive, but will last you for years, and your ears will thank you. If you intend on doing a lot of flying, a top of the line Headset will pay for itself over time and comfort. The Headset is designed with the function to record all audio and intercom. No, I am not a Headset salesman, just responding to your request for suggestions.
  4. Invest in a Lightspeed Zulu3 Headset which connects to a phone app called Flightlink, and you will get crystal clear audio and intercom recordings.
  5. I have the same problem. No issue with my ipad or iphone but my Apple Watch shows the US Units and no option to change. Kiwi if you go to the Sportys pilot shop web and you will find various email addresses to discuss problems like this. I find them very helpful. I only use the App on my phone, have never tried on the watch as the numbers are too small and impossible to do things in turbulence. Good luck!
  6. Ok I fully understand where you are coming from.
  7. I know nothing about the situation Spacesailor is in, but as Turbs and Kasper have said, just contact RAA!! Spacey time and time again I read knowledgible people telling you what you need to do, but you seem reluctant to take advice and just complain.... with respect, stop complaining, and listen to the advice of those who try to help you.
  8. Yes I have a similar solar system in my Hangar. My question was to Shajen, so Shajen if you care to pm me, I am happy to discuss your issues on the phone, as I have had similar experience in earlier times with my Jab Radio., since resolved.
  9. And Shajen, what does the voltmeter do when you press the mic switch and Do you have same problem with engine off?
  10. Ok here is the reply I received today A MINIMUM NON FLYING MEMBERSHIP IS TO BE MAINTAINED WITH RAA for an L2 The question i asked was if a LAME had to be an RAA member to act as an L2
  11. Thanks Kasper No, I am not a LAME but in the past I have had LAME,S tell me they cannot do work on my Aircraft because they do not hold L2 quals and are not RAA members. I have recently obtained L1 quals, so now I can get a LAME to do work that i am not confident or competant to perform, and sign it off myself. For the record, I own a LSA Factory built aircraft not used in a Flying School. The only area which remains unclear, is if the LAME has to be an RAA member, which hasnt been spelt out. I trust my interpretation is correct.
  12. On a quick read of the Amendments, am I correct in assuming that a LAME automatically gets L2 approval?
  13. I have printed copies of the Manuals. Got them a few months ago from the RAA Shop. I assume the amended Manuals will be available in the same way?
  14. Marty I dont think mine will work. Note the edges in my photo only fit an ipad mini, No spring to enlarge for larger ipad
  15. Further to my last post, I have the earlier version of it, specifically built for the Ipad Mini. I dont use it anymore, as I prefer Suction Cup RAM Attachment. PM me if you are interested in purchasing, $50 plus postage. Will send photo if you wish.

  18. I have one. As far as I know, only available from Sportys Pilot shop in the USA. The freight cost is prohibitive.
  19. No sorry. The Pickles bloke in charge is GAVIN and you could contact him on the Pickles website aviation section. He was taking phone calls while i was there and didnt get a chance to speak to him
  20. There were at least 15 Aircraft there, they presented very well. All had full glass instrumentation, all were polished up to a mirror shine. Foxbats, Bristells, Tecnams,, Aquila, and a Tecnam Twin. Interestingly, at 2pm I was the only tyre kicker in attendance
  21. Well i dropped in to the viewing this arvo and was told all paperwork was available for perusal.
  22. The Jabiru Manuals give clear guidance. As mentioned earlier, the specific Aircraft Manufacturer is the source. I dont think RAA can help with this, give them a call to confirm the above.
