    Skyfuel cards are free. You can fill as much as you want, when you want if you are able to get vehicle access to a suitable field. Aus-Wide Carnet - Skyfuel If you are washing out drums, make sure the oil WILL dilute with your fuel.

    For once, I hope that Australia's lagging behind the rest of the world is a good thing and we learn from other countries mistakes. I'm not one of those burying my head in the sand (or in my @rse) pretending this does not exist and will follow whatever rules and regulations exist. We may look back and think that standing in a queue for a short period of time was the least of our worries.....

    Nulabor motel/roadhouse is good for overnight stay. Motor to boom gate, turn off motor and pull to bowser..... Overnight at Forrest possible. No ulp and expensive avgas. Museum is good to see. http://www.forrestairport.com.au/ Kalgoorlie or Esperance for avgas. Esperance airport well out of town. Myrup airport close to esperance if you want to overnight and/or ferry ulp. PM for Myrup contact details.

    If you end up Renmark way, you can stay at the aero club and they supply a vehicle. Great for running into town for ulp.

    I'm guessing it would be more draggy without the skin which is less of an issue if you are going slow anyway. It might take a few knots off cruise and increase fuel consumption but offset against easier and cheaper construction.

    Horsham Aviation services. A great company for any services/avionic repairs or upgrades enroute.... Not sure what schedule or time frame you're looking at but it seems pretty busy. I wouldn't plan flying every day. You'll burn out and end up just being constantly "in transit".

    I'm sure if you ask for a paper bill they will send one. I have virtually 100%of my bills now emailed and love it. I receive the invoice and move it to a dedicated folder. If not paying it immediately I note it in my electronic calendar on the due date. I get an alert on the day and pay. Emailed receipts then go into the same folder as the invoice. Soooo.....easy..... On a different note, I was behind a lady in the newsagents and she pulled out a cheque book to pay. Who says dinosaurs are extinct?......lol

    I think the fairest way of sorting this would be to re raffle the aircraft. People with Airventure tickets would receive their ticket free. Others could pay to be in. 2000 tickets at $30 each roughly.....

    What I really need everyone to do is send me $50. I don't have time to explain and I can't really be bothered going into it in depth, but it's definately really really important everyone just send me $50. If you support aviation in Australia then don't hesitate or delay as this is time critical. Paypal gladly accepted.

    Piper sport was many tens of thousands of dollars more....for the same a aircraft. Went the way of the Cessna Skycatcher and the Dodo..... Probably a good private aircraft but nosewheels didn't hold up as a training aircraft...

    So.....is it the rudder or fin that is important not to be shaded?

    Probably not valid for your training purposes but I put and name waypoints on my ozrunways "magenta line" with the required area frequency.....easy to see as you are passing through and change on the radio as required.

    After reading your replies on several threads turbo, I'm convinced you have NO IDEA what an EFB is and what it does.... To the task at hand. I keep an A5 sized board onboard. Great for random notes and rego's....
