  1. suffering from a mild technical anomaly - after critical analysis using complimentary spanners and hammers .......... it has been decided to file the project in the big square bin out back
  2. if low flying is legally taught - it is in a defined area / zone where there are no dangerous low obstacles .............. such as wires there is certainly a curiosity about flying low when you are a low hour pilot (generally speaking) a low flying area helps pilots to start to contemplate, consider and comprehend the dangers
  3. good to see its got 2 nose wheels R750
  4. Did somebody just mutter, “correlation does not imply causation”? ............................ if you dropped a rock on your foot - the above statement holds logic

    Blériot 5190

what a beast / titanic ear muffs required no doubt
  6. thanks for all that peoples - I'll add I think for the turbo - the intercooler needs to be in there as well cooling down of intake gas and fuel ? before it goes in the engine I'm going back to that book where I mislead it or I misunderstood it (I still think ? the Luftwaffe climbed to have the height advantage for speed / gravity - to get some performance)
  7. so Loonybob / and others - are the facts about Luftwaffe and say USA aircraft performance correct ? - via my crude technical ability Did Luftwaffe craft perform not as well at the higher altitude and if that is correct what was the thing that determined that ? ta
  8. On the subject of P47’s and WW2 Reading my last book ……… the Luftwaffe did not have much access to metals such as nickel so their max boost (super or turbo ?) for the ME 109 and FW 190 was say 18000 ft where as the P47 & P51 was something like + 24000 ft The height at which the B17 flying fortress flew at - + 24000 ft A distinct advantage to the allies and their bombing campaign in Europe. A distinct disadvantage to Luftwaffe pilots who had to get up to the B17 height Not something well considered by many ? – these crude technical comments are made for discussion !
  9. ......... there an opening here for a 'vegan' / vegetarian roadhouse the truck parking could be a staged construction .................... as popularity increases
  10. also to help you search for other suppliers ..................... ? don't think its XPS - its EPS (expanded polystyrene)
  11. 4 engines - DC8 ?
  12. There seem to be 2 groups of people in this landscape: Group 1 - these people - their pulses race with words like AGM's, boards elections, board member, associations, incorporated associations, diplomatic, elections, constitution, nominees ......... etc Group 2 - this group just are not interested Group 3 - and other groups, in case this is to much of a generalisation Group 1 - love throwing rocks and will keep throwing rocks at group 2. Group 1 thinks Group 2 is at fault for not participating. Rock throwing is obviously contradictory to diplomacy. Rock throwing is the same fault that Group 1 thinks .............. Group 2 has Group 2 - usually never react - because probably there was no reaction in the first place. Rock throwing is not a provocation to Group 2. Group 2 does not think Group 1 has a fault - generally Group 2 never even considered any one had a fault at all

  14. the govamin will shortly be mandating a 7% wage rise for all building bound employees first, all windows will have to 'blacked' out (white is also becoming acceptable) the cost inefficiencies of clear glass distraction can be easily demonstrated (says the govamin) ...............

  16. 250 hp might be enough ........... but the bloke at the end of the queue (you know - the one following too close & looking over your right fender and right side mirror) needs 350 hp to get past 'you' all
  17. if its real ? - be good to see how they depict the hose layout (metal and rubber; other) on the design drawing (sssssss ........)
  18. PBS TJ100 jet engine - google says $65 k to buy the engine - assuming US dollars by way of comparison a B737 engine cost $ 15,000,000 !?! ................ still hoping my investments will ...................
  19. I think that's your problem - motor is idling to high - that's why the plurry thing won't come on down - on the ground what does it idle at - I'd suggest 1500 - any other bidders please
  20. this is serious stuff where lives are at risk but I can't help thinking of vehicle roundabouts and the human interpretation of what is correct roundabouts: Situational awarness is required - what lane - where not to cross - when to go and where / / how to exit; (what direction - for some); etc aircraft circuits: Situational awarness is required but there are vertical and horizontal dimensions, and speeds, heights, conflicting directions, etc Both require correct human interpretation - radios will help a great deal (joining pilots can understand the likely circuit being used and who is out there using a radio properly) - but I think the human interpretation of what is the correct way to join is the big one
  21. someone said 'reality ends at the end (lens) of a camera' ......... can'r remember who that was
  22. Facthunter - you always remind me of the comment you ? made where you said 'you join a club to enjoy the differences of other people' that's important too
